Want to go there around 1500-1600 and dont have a clue about operation hours.Worth the effort looking there for unique designs of local artists? Any specific stores to recomended, something instersting but not necesseraly the most classic/expensive places? thx !

I consider Okachimachi as a place to buy jewelry supplies and parts. So while I am sure you will find something, it might not be the best in terms of looking for unique work by local artists, except for 2K540 gallery mentioned in the other URL.
Back streets in Omote-sando and other places might also house small galleries with local artists' work, but those require looking up (or plenty of time to wander about).
