Remittance from Japan to overseas 2015/6/2 01:27
Hello, everybody!
I am foreign national currently residing abroad (Thailand). I am working for japanese company than can send me payment only to Japanese bank account. So, I need to have a Japanese bank account to send money to my Thai bank account/ Money Gram/ Paypal.

I have read that there are some remittance service but they require sender to be verified personally. Is it possible to do it from abroad?

Thank you.

Japanese laws forbid banks to open bank accounts to non-residents or to tourists. Even if you were Japanese and living out of Japan it would not be possible. You are required to be a resident and living legally (alien card).
