Prepaid Sim Card

Hi there,
I understand that this question have been posted a lot. But I would really appreciate if someone could help me decide on which prepaid sim card I should purchase.
My needs are simple: 9-days in Japan (Tokyo, Kanazawa, Osaka, Kyoto) and 85% for Google Map with GPS and 15% for SNS like instagram.
Would the 1 GB Visitor Sim suffice?
I have another friend travelling with me, do we EACH buy one or we share one?
Or if you have any other suggestions to throw in, please do :)
Thanks guys!

Good Luck

FYI most of all prepaid shorterm SIM card run on leased docomo line. those companies @ MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) such as bmobile, iijmio, so-net, ocn-mobile etc. basically provide the same docomo line coverage and speed. however quality of service and line varies as some are throttle down. some just data only and some both data voice(for residence only) bmobile, iijmio are one of the pioneer mvno, provide SIM for prepaid or long term. https://www.iijmio.jp/hdd/visitors/http://www.bmobile.ne.jp/english/index.html
