how to email a Japanese email 2015/8/10 07:07
im trying to send an email to a Japanese author, but his website stated his email address was "mailgear.sakura.ne.jp" and my gmail account said that it was an invalid address. how do send the email, is there something i need to do to the address to be able to send it? (this is the website i got the address from http://wordgear.sblo.jp/category/4080036-1.html )

Check your language setting to make sure you are in English or half-width romaji? Other than that I'm not sure what else to try since the instructions on their site are pretty much exactly as Uji said.

then follow and RT fastest with e-mail error.

I did google the mail provider (gear.sakura.ne.jp) and no mail provider was returned (as far as i can see) so i think the part following the '@' is wrong. Try to check this. (Maybe your friend did enter this wrong in his email client).
