Help with getting paper for lamp 2015/10/26 23:55
Hi. I'm not living in or going too Japan soon, but I would really like to make a japanese style lamp. Just wondering could someone help with finding the best type of Shoji paper available for this purpose.

Shoji refers to the door & window frames which are covered with washi, the Japanese paper you're thinking of.

There are lots of places to buy washi online. Here's one of them:

You can also refer to the website for Mino Washi(Honminoshi) which is registered on the World's Cultural Heritage list.

You may contact with Minowashi Akari Art Gallery.
