Plus size Kimono & Yukata

Hi

I'm looking for rental of Kimono/Yukata in Kyoto.

I know a lot shops do rental, however several shops I've enquiried actually don't have big/plus sizes.

As we are UK 18/20 size, can anyone recommend?

I think you could try to contact http://wakjapan.com/ since they do kimono experiences in the Kyoto area specifically for foreigners -- and I'm guessing they have plus size available.

You can also buy one at http://www.kimono-yukata-market.com/ (I think this is one of the japan-guide partners, or at least it used to be if it's not now.)

Have you looked into Yumeyakata? I am in between a UK size 14 and 16 and was able to find several fitting kimonos there.
