Kujukushima and Huis Ten Bosch

I'll be traveling from Nagasaki to the Sasebo area in mid November 2016 and staying only one night before railing to Kagoshima. I want to go on a cruise to see the "99 islands" at Kujukushima but am also interested in seeing the Kingdom of Illumination attraction at Huis Ten Bosch (I'm not interested in actually taking in many activities at the HTB park itself). What hotel in Huis Ten Bosch would be best for viewing the night illumination? Also, do you recommend doing the Kujukushima cruise on the first day or the next day before I leave for Kagoshima? Thanks for any advice you can give!

It would be best to stay in one of the hotels inside Huis ten Bosch to fully enjoy the illumination. If not going for other attraction within the theme park you can take the 99 islands cruise during the day and go to Huis ten Bosch for the illumination on the same day. The only concern is the cruise schedule as it can vary depending on the time of the year and weather condition. There doesn�ft seem to be any earlier departure before 11.30, so be sure to monitor their webpage for any update schedule when the time comes to travel.

We found hotels inside the park to be a bit too expensive and were lucky to get a good deal in Hotel Nikko which is right outside the gate.
