Chinese name be translated into Japanese?

Hello,
I have been trying to translate my Chinese name (吳) into Japanese with no luck. I was wondering if someone who has some experience in Japanese could help, or at least inform me as of how to pick a Japanese name for myself.

If it helps, the English translation of my name is:
吳 – God-like
– Asperation/Persistance/Strong/Integrity
– Last forever/Permanent

I don't know what you mean by translating a name.
Can you translate Clinton or Kennedy or Obama into Chinese?
