Hello there, I have a question regarding the use of this particles...
Here's the question: Kyoo dare to hiro gohan o tabemasu ka? My anwser: Tomodachi to tabemashita.
Now here's my doubt: should the particle "to" be replaced by "de"?

Why would it be de? Are you trying to say something else that doesn't involve "dare" and "tomodachi"?
to = with (person) de = at (place), means, time/currency cost, some other uses
to is the particle you are looking for.

I should mention that both particles have other uses I didn't mention, but those are best left for when your class/tutor/textbook covers them.

I don't mean to nitpick, but I guess the original question asked about "hirU-gohan," lunch, right? And since the question is asking "With whom are you going to have lunch today?" I guess the answer should also say "Tomodachi to tabemaSU." :)
About "to," yes the above poster is exactly right.
