Lost my iphone on 21st February 2016 2016/2/24 01:32
Hi, i was an exchange student to Tokyo and about 2 days ago, on the last day in tokyo i lost my phone on Odakyu line around 5:45-6:00am on 21st February 2016. It was at Fujisawa station. Apparently i tried to report police but the policemen weren't at the station. I got to rush for my flight and so i left it in the hands of my japanese friends. He tried to report lost for me but was rejected due to the fact that he isn't the owner of the iphone. What else can i do? I really need my phone back desperately. I contacted the Japan embassy in my country but they said they couldn't help me. I tried to use "Find my Iphone" but i didn't download in my phone. Apparently i tried to call my phone through LINE and it did went through but no one picks up cause my phone is locked with password. I am really stressed out and not knowing what to do. PLEASE someone help me :(

you may ask police, through your friends, that you can report the lost, if you nominate him as your attorney.
also, if you lost the phone inside of the station, he may try to report Odakyu company.

TEL: +81-3-3481-0066
9:00 to 19:00 JST
When you press the 2 in the first automatic voice guidance will lead to the left behind in charge.

Where I tried inquiry, date time, I was asked the location and iphone of the model name (iphone5, 6) color, telephone line of the company, the presence or absence of the case, the case color, accessories and the like.
It is not clear whether the English-speaking personnel are, but I think that lead also in English to talk slowly.

Odakyu Electric Railway has service to mail the things left behind in Japan.
Please try to talk to they are mailed to overseas.
