What’s the difference

What is the difference between "donna" and "Nani" in Japanese? From what i found out, both of them mean What, right?

I would say "donna" is more like "what kind of...?" and it comes before a noun, as it describes it.

For example,
- Donna ongaku ga suki desu ka. ([What kind of ]music do you like?)

If you are thinking of going to dinner with your friend, and want to start looking for a good place, you might ask your friend:
- Donna mono ga tabetai desu ka? (What kind of food/things do you want to eat?)
You might get an answer like "Itaria ryouri ga tabetai desu." (I want to eat Italian food) or "Atatamaru mono ga tabetai desu." (I want to eat something that is warming.)

If you are sitting at a restaurant with an open menu in front of you and your friend, you might ask:
- Nani ga tabetai desu ka. (What do you want to eat?)
You might get a specific answer like "Kore ni shimasu." (I'm going to have this.)
