ko, gu, and re are each a separate syllable. "ko" as the "co" in "co-op" "gu" is like "goo", but shorter (don't extend the vowel sound) "re" as in "rend"

(all same pronunciation) Real Kogure-san seems living about 40,000 total as Japanese. He(guest) is one of 小暮さん. https://youtu.be/q4eCBCAXu9cJapan population over 0.125 billion recorded in this year. So real Kogure-san not so many about 0.0037%(= 37/10,000). Using Kogure for "LAST name" usual as real name. Never heard as "FIRST name" except created something characters.
