Hi,
Any non native English teachers here that got the job without TESOL or a degree in English language? I have a BBA degree have 16 years of education in English (school +university). I addition all my previous jobs required me to communicate both verbally and in written form in English.
Should I invest in getting TESOL?

Good luck with that, even if you do get TESOL.
Since most foreigners don't speak Japanese beyond basic conversational level, 99.99999% of native English speakers are stuck teaching English (maybe the only job in Japan where 0 Japanese ability is required).
The market is absolutely saturated, with many struggling to find even underpaid part time work.
