Is this cheese in America? 2016/11/22 12:51
I once told my host mom I liked cheese, so she started buying these little squares of them. The only thing I know is that they're Philadelphia. Do they sell these cheeses in the US? They're delicious!

Here is what they look like. She bought a whole ton of it! http://i.imgur.com/TTARRGK.jpg

You never had or seen cream cheese? I don't consider it as cheese but bagel spread.

That is not Japanese original one.
Japanese big food company "Morinaga" licensed fr US food company "Kraft Heinz".

But don't know which one is same "plain/ƒvƒŒ[ƒ“" flavor.
This is UK site.

You know what, I'm not sure that they do sell such things in America. As others have said it is a kind of soft cream cheese, but I can't remember ever seeing it sold as a snack like that, and quick internet searches don't seem to turn up anything definite. You can certainly get pretty soft ones in little tubs that I guess you could snack on with a spoon or something, but I'm not sure if they sell cream cheese snacks like your picture.

Yes, they may not be packaged like this in America. We don't have them here in Australia, but we do have Philadelphia cream cheese available in blocks or tubs. We do have snack-size tubs, but they're different to these little blocks (and they come in a variety of flavours).

Yes, they sell cream cheese sticks in the US. They use it to make cheesecakes. It usually looks like butter sticks

The Philadelphia brand is sold almost worldwide, it's a very popular brand, packaging, shape and size may be different, and have more or less variety and flavour.

For those unfamiliar, these are little soft eating cheeses in the OP's picture. It's not the same kind of cream cheese you get in the blocks.
