Should I pay for the membership on JPod101?

Before I go to a language school in July in Japan I want to learn basic Japanese because that way I won't be totally confused when I first go, I hear many great things about Japanese Pop 101 and they are having a 30% off sale today (last day for sale) and I was wondering to the people that use(d) it before, is it worth paying for the membership or should I just stick to the free?

Update: I found a site where If I go through them I get 60% off so I did that instead, of course, I signed up for the 6 months premium so by the time It hits July I'll know the basic Japanese
