Prefectural tour guide license exam

I'm thinking about taking the tour guide license exam and I currently live in Tohoku prefecture. If I take the exam in Sendai will I only be allowed to be a tour guide in iwate? If I want to be a tour guide in Tokyo do I need to take the exam in tokyo is what I'm asking. I've read the website but I couldn't find any information clarifying that part of the process. I know that once you pass the governor issues the license to you. What I I want to be a guide in tokyo and Sendai?

Tohoku is not a prefecture, and Sendai is not in Iwate. What prefectural license exam are you talking about? And you want to be a guide in Japanese or a foreign language?
