Meaning of icons on Hanshin Tigers calendar 2017/2/2 01:49
Thanks to the Hanshin Tigers / Koshien Stadium's excellent guide on how to buy a ticket on their website, I'm looking at purchasing tickets to a game in April!
http://www.hanshin.co.jp/koshien/global/en/ticket/

But by each game there are different logos, and I can't figure out exactly what they mean. For example, on the April 30th game, there is a beer icon, and a gift icon. Using google translate when I hover over them it says "Koshien's Via Festa" and "Tiger wings goods gift", but when I google those phrases I don't get any results.

It's a pop-up window so I can't even highlight the Japanese text and try to search that way. Anyone know what all these icons mean?

They could mean those are gifts or events for that day for season ticket holders.

The beer one is a "beer festival". The chicken one is a "chicken festival day". The "FC" mark is for "Fan Club appreciation day", etc.

1)
"Koshien's Via Festa" is "Koshien BEER festa" :)
Don't too much drink before game starts if really taste good :)

In Japan writing "beer" is ビール(biiru/Roman spelling) usual
but often using same sound "beer/ビア".
ビアホール/beer hall, ビアガーデン/beer garden and some more.
Word ビール came from Dutch language "bier".
In Japan a lot of words exist from Dutch language origin and using longer years than English.

Thank you all so much, this is really great information! I love the idea of a chicken festival, though I don't think my plans will let me go to one of those games. But I'm there for the Koshien beer festival, so I think I'll have plenty of fun. Baseball games in Japan are so interesting, I can't wait to see what one is like in person.

Extra thanks for all the links Giabbit, those tell me so much!
