Question about Niseko at Mid April

Hi, am plan to go Niseko village during my visit to Hokkaido in mid April but i notice that the snow is start melting that time and i have checked the bus schedule which direct from New Chitose Airport to Niseko village is only till 2nd of April, isit correct?
We are not the skiing persons, actually we are jus wanna to go there for relax and enjoy the landscape and onsen, it is advisable to go during that period?
