Certificate of Eligibility 2017/3/29 11:13
Hello I am trying to obtain a Certificate of Eligibility for a Child of a Japanese, my question is my dad has already passed away but can my cousin carry out the arrangement for my Certificate of Eligibility application? I've consulted with a Lawyer and his fees are too costly for me. I was hoping to not spend that much since I really don't have much.
additional info,
I am Mao, 24 years of Age and my dad has aknowledge me in his kosekitohon before passed away.

Thank you in advance!

Yes, when applying for a CoE for "Spouse or Child of Japanese national" status, a relative living in Japan may submit the application on your behalf. http://www.immi-moj.go.jp/english/tetuduki/kanri/shyorui/01.html
