Please help me with a proper translation in English, I want to dedicate this haiku to someoane very dear, he speaks Japanese and I woudn t want to offence him. Thank you so much!

As I see in the translations, the term - kokoro - is translated alternatively with love and mind...I wonder which would be more suitable in this context. Thank you very much, again!
