3 hours in Tottori Sand Dunes

Hello,

We likes to do day trip from Himeji to Tottori Sand Dunes, is 3 hrs enough to see sand dunes.

Arriving Tottori around 1pm & back to Himeji 4 or 5pm, is this possible?

3 hours should be enough.... but are you sure you just want to visit the sand dunes, then leave immediately on the same afternoon?

We visited Tottori a few years ago. We took a sightseeing bus from the station to the dunes . Upon arrival, you may not want to take the chairlift, but we did, to save a wee bit of "time and legs". The chairlift will only take you to the bottom of the dune, it took us 15 minutes to reach the top . We spent ample time on top of the dune, and back to the station using a same bus. Total about 3 hours.
