ANA Visa Credit Card days of approval

Hi Guys!

Has anyone experienced applying for an ANA Visa credit card online?

I tried it last week and just want to know how long does it normally take for the process to be completed. I checked the status online and it says it's still in process.

Today is exactly the 5th business day from the day I applied.

Depends on the bank and country where you are located. Contact the financial institution issuing the card and ask.

All credit cards I applied for took longer than that to arrive. And I'm a Japanese resident.

@John B: OP is applying for an ANA-issued credit card.

I am currently based in Japan. I survived the filling out of the online form and now im waiting for the response. I'd like to think this is a good sign because the last time I tried applying for a card (rakuten), got a rejection email the following day.

Firas, my ANA Visa is issued by the First National Bank of Omaha, not by All Nippon Airways. ANA doesn't have a financial branch and therefore does not issue credit cards on their own. They are issued by a financial institution in agreement with ANA.

Written (mail) notification takes much longer to arrive than it would take to call the bank issuing the card. Read the fine print and call the bank.

In Japan, the ANA cards seem to be issued by Sumitomo Mitsui Bank.... call them.

in Japan, financial banks don't issue credit card.

5 days is not so long.

I tried checking the status through the link and it says enrollment still in process. I guess just have to wait.
