Looking for friendship in tokyo

Hi guys.
I am an italian medical student who is going to Tokyo quite soon ( next 29 of July). I will attend tokyo university hospital, cardiosurgery department! I am so excited but I will be alone in the city. I hope to make some new friends, do you have any advice?
