hello, is a logo of a snake in a shinto gate offensive? i made a logo for my study trip to japan of a snake in a shinto gate. i study biomedical engineering and we often just a snake in our logo, because it is seen as a symbol for medicine. we used a shinto gate because it is often used as a symbol for japan

Some shrines worship snakes, so it is definitely not "offensive". In Tokyo, there is Kamishinmeitenso Shrine that worships the white serpent. http://hebikubo.jp/But some people just don't like snakes (that's universal) regardless of religion.
