logo of a snake in a shinto gate offensive? 2017/7/28 20:47
hello,
is a logo of a snake in a shinto gate offensive?
i made a logo for my study trip to japan of a snake in a shinto gate. i study biomedical engineering and we often just a snake in our logo, because it is seen as a symbol for medicine. we used a shinto gate because it is often used as a symbol for japan

thanks

Some shrines worship snakes, so it is definitely not "offensive".
In Tokyo, there is Kamishinmeitenso Shrine that worships the white serpent.

But some people just don't like snakes (that's universal) regardless of religion.
