Is the cruise ship dock far from the city center?

Both are not so far from the city center (Aomori station, maybe). Maybe 1.5 to 2.0 km by foot.

JR has buses from Aomori Station to Towadako.

The bus takes close to 3 hours one way and costs about 3000 yen.
