I wonder if yasai tempura contain any meat? I know that yasai tempura is a vegetable tempura, but I want to be sure that it is meat free.

It depends. Just ask at the restaurant what's in it (nani ga haitte imasuka?). Note that the dough of tempura contains chicken eggs.
