Kiba (Koto ward) 2017/9/7 14:30
Hello!

I will stay in Tokyo for 6 months for work and I found a reasonably priced share house in Kiba (Koto ward).

My question now is if this neighborhood is safe. Public transport to Roppongi only takes 25 min so it would be perfect for me.

Best regards

Josh

Japan is not save at all. Although it has one of the lowest crime rates in the world. Just being sarcastic.

Kiba is great! I live close by, it is a safe area. Plus there is a lot to do in the area.

It's not a "particularly" dangerous area. A friend grew up there. Have you Street-Viewed? What is your concern and what is your definition of "safe"? I've been attacked and then at another time stolen near my home which is in one of the most safest neighborhoods in Japan, and the police didn't help me much, but I still call it "generally safe."
