Do I need snow tyres in November?

I am planning to drive from Osaka to Kanazawa via Takayama in November 2017, my route details as follow. Do I need snow tyres? Is this route ok? Any road blocks expected? Please help, thanks.
11Nov: Osaka (ITM) to Hikone
12Nov: Hikone to Takayama
13 Nov: Takayama to Shirakawa-go to Toyama
15 Nov: Toyama to Kanazawa
18Nov: Kanazawa to Fukui to Kyoto

13 Nov: Takayama to Shirakawa-go to Toyama, possibly required snow chains up to the weather and temperature.

Check with the car rental company. They should be able to advise you and added cost if so needed.
