hi all, we are coming to japan in the end of November (landing in Tokyo but flexible in location) and trying to find nice two days hikes which will include sleeping in a mountain hut/ remote guesthouse/ anything nice a and cozy (we do not carry a tent). we understand that this is out of season for Kamikochi and the area, and having troubles to find alternatives (of course areas still having autumn leaves will be best). it really doesn't have to be well known or well organised trail. will be grateful for any recommendation!

Did you have a look at the Lonely planet hiking in Japan? I think it describes a lot of hiking routes in great detail. You will want one not too high up.
Enjoy your trip to Japan!

If you might come to Kansai area, my recommendation are Minoo, Jingo-ji, Keisoku-ji as for trecking.
