Can anybody recommend estate agents for foreigners looking to rent a long term apartment in Tokyo? My husband is starting a full time job in Tokyo next week. We are looking for 1-2 bedrooms place in Nakano or Suginami. Thank you!

The two companies I have dealt with are:
Plaza Homes, email realestate-tokyo.com phone 03 3583 6941
www.realestate-tokyo.com/rental apartment/
and Ken Corporation
www.kencorp.com phone 03 5413 5666
If they don't have places in those areas they will either introduce you to a local company that does,or source a place through another real estate company.
Other than that have you thought about asking the company your husband is going to work for to help you find a place ? Both of the above speak English.
