Best way to get from Shinjuku to Gala Yazawa?

we are staying at shinjuku hotel. apparently there is a train that goes from tokyo straight to Gala Yazawa station? all the google search i did only shows trains stopping at Echigoyuzawa then we have to walk half hour to the gala station

JR Shinjuku - JR Tokyo(by Chuo or Yamanote line) - JR Gala Yuzawa(Shinkansen(Joetsu-shinkansen))
JR Gala Yuzawa station is opened ONLY Gala Ski Resort is opened. This season, Gala ski resort is opened between Dec 16 2017 - May 5 2018, therefore, JR Gala Yuzawa station is opened between Dec 16 2017 - May 5 2018.
The off season connection to Gala Ski Resort is only access by bus or car(taxi) from JR Yuzawa station.
