Transfer from Yamanote to Takasaki line

hi... i'm planning to go to Miyahara from Akihabara. according to Hyperdia, from Akihabara to Miyahara, i have to take Yamanote Line to Ueno, then take the Takasaki Line to reach Miyahara.
being a true first-timer about train transfers, my question is : i have a SUICA card. in Ueno station, between disembarking Yamanote and embarking Takasaki, do i have to go through the ticket gates, or not ? i mean, after getting off Yamanote, do i have to exit the paid fare zone, then re-enter somewhere, before getting on Takasaki ? or should i just change platform without exiting the paid fare zone ?
thanks in advance.

You wont need to do anything with your IC card. You say inside the paid area to transfer.

Hyperdia actually gives the required clue showing a single ticket for both legs. (and that they are both JR trains).
