JR Pass and Kansai Thru Pass 2017/11/5 14:36
Hi Everyone!

I would just like to ask if what would be the best way to travel around Japan?

Since I will be travelling there on January 12-18 2018, I haven't bought any JR Passes.

January 12 is my arrival date in Japan and my entry port is Fukuoka. I plan to stay the night in Fukuoka and by January 13, I will be heading to Osaka. January 13-18, I'll be staying a place near Kujo Station. I am torn between buying JR pass or Kansai Thru Pass..or should I buy both?

Any recommendations? Since I plan to go to Kyoto, Kobe, Nara. in which Train passes would I be able to maximize more? Considering the fact that I'll be coming from Fukuoka. :)

Any suggestions as well where I could see snow in Japan that's near Osaka?

Hoping for responses! Thank you!

Sanyo-San'in Pass, still seven days but 10,000 yen cheaper
