Visa app. form guarantor: person or company? 2017/11/16 01:28
Hi,

I'm going through the visa application form (http://www.mofa.go.jp/files/000124525.pdf) which I need to hand in along with my CoE to get a visa. I am from the Netherlands, but the form is the same for all countries.

The form asks for the following: "Guarantor or reference in Japan (Please provide details of the guarantor or the person to be visited in Japan)"

My company is not sure if I should write the company details and leave blank Date of birth/Sex/Profession/Nationality, or if I should write the personal information of a company employee there.

Can anyone who recently got a work visa shine any light on this?

Thanks!

Ask the embassy.

I called them, and writing the company details only is no problem.

I hope this might be useful for others in the future.
