Hi, Chance upon this post and I'm interested to take this train for the view after visiting Asahikawa zoo to stop by Furano. I will be taking the shinkansen from tokyo to hokkaido, arriving on 1st Jan and leaving on the 4th. https://www.tsunagujapan.com/enjoy-the-spectacular-scenery-of-hokkaido...Anyone took this train in winter before? Is it worth taking? Also, may I ask if buses will be available in Furano during winter? Appreciate any advice! Thanks!
