Narita Express Tickets to Narita Airport 2017/12/2 12:12
Hello,

I was thinking of using Narita Express to get from Tokyo to Narita Airport for my flight at 1130 on Christmas Day. Was wondering whether it is advisable and possible to buy the return ticket before the day itself, to spare myself the worry of not getting a ticket? If so, where can I get it?

I have searched online but most websites seemed to focus more on getting out from Narita to Tokyo instead.

Thank you so much! Have a nice day ahead!

You can buy a Narita Express ticket up to 30 days in advance if you wish. Just go to a reservation office if you're unsure on how to use the machines.

you can buy a ticket from any ticket office in advance and from reserve ticket machines in larger stations, however in ten years of using the NEX i've never seen it even remotely close to being full. I wouldn't worry to much about getting a seat, but if the chance arises feel free to buy one in advance.

@pas7680, they do get full, especially the early morning ones with many people aiming to get the first flights of the day and and busy seasons. I don't do the trip that often even with the number of pick-ups I do, but I've hit it a few times with lots of people standing.
However, Christmas Day is not a busy day in Japan (certainly not a holiday), it is a regular Monday, and for a 11am flight there are several trains to choose from that will get someone to Narita before 9 am for check-in.
