Winter tires for Kyushu rental cars

I plan to rent a car and drive in Kyushu in the from next week for 2 weeks. My trip takes me to to Ryokans in Takeo Kurokawa and Yufuin besides Nagasaki Beppu and Mt Aso, Do I need winter tyres for the car for this period? Thanks in advance

When? Which date? Basically no need, but rates of snow falling(as using snow tire level) is not "0%", under 3% usual. Only in Mt.Aso higher ground is more than, but under 5%. So, see the one-week weather forecast. http://www.jma.go.jp/jma/indexe.html
