Question about domestic parcel delivery 2017/12/6 05:37
Hi.
I try to figure it out how can I get my bicycle to Japan because of the airlines baggage allowances but one of the options I am thinking about is to post a hard bicycle case from Sapporo airport to Kagoshima airport. Any idea how much would that be? I still have to ask British Airways they might let me use a cardboard box instead hard case but better get ready to the bad news...
Thanks.

If you need to ship it within Japan,Yamato Kuroneko is probably the best option. They also have an English website with an English speaking phone number.

Ifd suggest to call there as the price may depend on weight and size of the parcel. But it is definitely possible. I have seen other people do it.

Enjoy your ride through Japan!

JapanPost can deal with some pretty large and heavy items for both domestic and international (30kg should more than cover the weight of a bike). http://www.post.japanpost.jp/int/service/i_parcel_en.html
I suspect Yu-Pack might not work because the measurements might be too large.
