Where in Kyoto to where in Osaka?
No need for shinkansen. It is only 10 mins faster than local JR services.
Three major routes are available. Hankyu Kyoto line, JR line and Keihan Main Line. All easily a simple google search to find. Pick whichever suits your start point in Kyoto and you finish destination in Osaka.

There are many different routes, on several different train lines, depending on where you're starting and where you're going. Go to Google Maps and plug in your starting and ending points, and it will tell you the best route, and some alternate routes as well.
