Self Drive Central Japan

Planning to central japan self drive trip late Jan this winter (I did a similar route in spring)
Looking for suggestions on places to visit :)
route: Nagoya - Takayama - Shirakawago - Kanazawa(maybe) - Osaka
Nagoya
- Nabana no Sato
Is it worth staying around there or a day trip?
Takayama
- Shin Hotaka Ropeway
Shirakawago
- Shiroyama viewpoint
Kanazawa
- shin minato fisherman wharf
Osaka
- osaka aquarium and outlet before we drop off the car
Any suggestions on where else we can visit?

Do you have experience driving in snowy conditions? Takayama and Shirakawa will have snow.
Also how many days have you for your trip?

@LikeBike Will there be heavy snow? Ifve not driven in heavy snow but will have a 4WD with snow tyres. Total trip is for 8 days and plan to spend last 3 days in Osaka
the first 5 days will cover
-Shirakawago-Takayama-Shin Hotaka-Karuizawa Prince Hotel-Jigokudani Snow Monkey Park-Kanazawa-Nagoya-Nabana no Sato
Therefs a long drive between Jigokudani Snow Monkey Park to Kanazawa. Are there any good recommendations for a night stop?

You can consider Public transportation instead of Self Drive .
Shoryudo Highway Bus Ticket= 5 day=14000~ cover Chubu Region , Nagoya's Central Japan Airport and Kanazawa.,Nagoya, Takayama, , Toyama, Okuhida, Matsumoto.Valid on Nohi Bus, Hokutetsu Bus between :Takayama - Shirakawa-go - Kanazawa route.
