Does anyone know if there is (was) a statue of the Nike of Samothrace (a statue of a woman with no arms and head) in Nara in front of the JR station (just read in some book, and now wondering whether its true or not)

According to this page, http://voiceofnara.jp/news012.htmlthe replica Nike was really settled in front of Nara station, and due to the reconstruction of the station it was removed. Now it is in a high school in Nara (Ichijo high school) but is not open for public.
