Rail Travel around Japan

Planning an October trip, using the train to get around. Route is Tokyo, Kanazawa, Hiroshima, Osaka, Kyoto, Tokyo within 14 days. Prepared to pay a premium for quicker journeys. Is there a suitable rail pass that is cost effective for this, or is my best bet to book individual journeys on Shinkansen etc? Many thanks,

Try to rail passes list. The nationwide JR Pass is probably your best bet.

14 day rail pass.
Or if prepared to pay premium. The just buy single tickets on fastest trains. Althought this option only saves 30 minutes on 2 for you 5-6 long distance trips.
