Fuji Hakone Free Pass 2018/3/3 01:42
Hi!
I am planning to go to Hakone & Fuji from Kyoto. My itinerary would be:
20 Jun - Kyoto to Hakone and then stay in Hakone
21 Jun - enjoying Hakone, Gotemba and stay the night in Hakone
22 Jun - going to Kawaguchiko and stay the night in Kawaguchiko area
23 Jun - going back to Tokyo

If I bought Fuji Hakone Free Pass from ODAWARA, can it covers my train / bus from Kawaguchiko to Tokyo?

Thanks!

The maximum length of pass is 3 days. So even if they did sell the return ticket version to you at Odawara, it would be a waste on your forth day.

Just buy the Odawara local version only, then get a highway bus to Tokyo on your forth day for 16XX yen.

For two reasons: no. Reason 1: The pass sold at Odawara does not include the trips between Tokyo and the Hakone/Fuji region. Reason 2: The pass is valid for only three calendar days, not four.

No, the pass purchased at Odawara does not cover the bus back to Shinjuku. But it is 2350 cheaper, which means you'll still save money after buying a one way bus/train to Tokyo.
