Original japanese animal names 2018/3/6 18:29

We have a cattery and expecting kittens soon and want to give them Japanese names.
On internet there are many websites that have japanese dog and cat names but they all have a western approach to the names.

I am interested to know how people actually name their cats in Japan. I hope someone can help me with a list of names where i can choose from.

Thank you so much in advance!

Marcus

Tama, Mike (not "Michael", "mi" is pronounced the same as "mi"lk, ke is of "che"mistry. Generally given to tortoiseshell cats) and Chibi.
These are traditional but not so common these days.
