Hi, We have a cattery and expecting kittens soon and want to give them Japanese names. On internet there are many websites that have japanese dog and cat names but they all have a western approach to the names. I am interested to know how people actually name their cats in Japan. I hope someone can help me with a list of names where i can choose from. Thank you so much in advance! Marcus p.s. Maybe the breed can help in thinking of names: http://www.tenzai-ocicats.com/english/

Tama, Mike (not "Michael", "mi" is pronounced the same as "mi"lk, ke is of "che"mistry. Generally given to tortoiseshell cats) and Chibi. These are traditional but not so common these days.
