Tuna Auction at Tsukiji Market on 28 March 2018/3/9 09:20
I wanted to visit Tuna Auction on 28 March 2018 early morning but I am not sure if it is open ?
From the Calendar below, that date is marked red but not sure what it means ?

Can anyone please help to understand how to read this Calendar or does anyone know that the Tuna Auction is still on on 28 March ?

Sunday is regular closing, other marked on calendar dates is "seasonal" closing.
So you can not see the auction, but market gate is not closed,
you can enter for eating at restaurants(Sushi and more) of inner market.
But opened restaurants are not full. (basically, their restaurants open for market workers)

All non marked calendar date is auction date, read guide book(PDF) if really want to go.

Already you know, can not make a reservation, so don't know when it will reach capacity.

Thank you. I will visit on Tuesday or Monday. We arrived in Tokyo on Sunday.
I saw people commented in TripAdvisor to queue from 3 AM !!
Is that common to queue from that time ?
I don't want to get there and found there is noone lining up !
