It's actually fairly difficult to make Kansai area passes pay off without some long distance travel. Fortunately you do this, so for Mar 27-31, I suggest you get a Kansai Wide Area Pass. https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2361_08.htmlIf the order of your plans does not matter, you could squeeze a little more savings by switching Koyasan with one of your days in Kyoto to get the full 5 days out of the Wide Area Pass. For Koyasan, use a Koyasan World Heritage Ticket. https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2358_012.htmlYou can see Koyasan as a day trip, but it is far better as an overnight. The rest of your days are a little unclear. Are you landing at KIX on Mar 24? If so, the Icoca & Haruka discount ticket might help if you are staying longer after the Apr 1st enough to use what is still on the IC card. https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2359_icoca_haruka.html
