Sapporo to Biei via bus

Hi all,

I am new to this forum & I am a foreigner living in japan.

I am planning a trip to Hokaaido this golden week. Currently, I am looking for transport options from Sapporo to Biei. After Biei, I will go to Asahikawa next, so i don't want to travel Sapporo to Asahikawa to Biei . I have found some information that there are local buses from Sapporo to Furano & then to Biei but not anything specific about the timings of the buses.

I don't think there are direct buses to Biei. There are direct buses to Furano, though, from where you can take a bus or train to Biei:

Or you could take a train from Sapporo via Takikawa and Furano to Biei.
