I would like to know about the Hakone Free Pass
I understand I can use the HFP from Tokyio but I would like it only one way. What is the rate for a one way from Tokyo including the Hakone Free pass?

Yes cheaper to buy separate ticket to Odawara, then just buy the Odawara version of the Hakone free pass.
