Honestly, you should do some research on this site, or others, plan out what you want to see and then use Google Maps to figure out how best to get there.

The question is impossible to answer without knowing where you're going. Is your "sightseeing" Sapporo, or is it Daisetsuzan National Park? The answer will be VERY different.
