Travel Tokyo, Takayama, Osaka and Kyoto 2018/3/19 16:36
Hi All,

I am planning my Japan for the first time with my husband.
Appreciate if you can help me on my itinerary plan and advise me what is best if any.

Day 1 : Arrive Tokyo morning - Travel to Takayama
Day 2 : Takayama - day trip to Shirakawa -go
Day 3 : Takayama to Kyoto
Day 4 : Kyoto
Day 5 : Kyoto
Day 6 : Osaka
Day 7 : Osaka
Day 8 : Tokyo
Day 9 : Tokyo
Day 10 : Tokyo to Singapore

Any better suggestion to add on to my itinerary. In fact i am looking to spend 10 to 11 days for my itinerary.

Thanks and Regards, Irene

I wouldn't add in any more cities.

I would just stay in Kyoto and not worry about a Osaka hotel. Kyoto and Osaka are 25 minutes apart. It isn't worth changing hotels.

Thank you Hakata. I am planning to buy local pass for subway in Tokyo and Osaka for me to move around with good saving money.

Other than that i am buying the 7 days the JR Pass for those long distance travel on train. Hope this is the right choice and help me on my journey.

But you return to Tokyo on day eight. So seven day pass wont work.

Hi!

Could you possibly fly into Chubu airport in Nagoya and then out of Haneda/Tokyo with an open jaw ticket?
